Hoopfest and Spokane

The kids and I spent a week in Spokane while Ryan was fishing. We got to enjoy 8, yes 8 games of Uncle Eric's at Hoopfest. We had a blast! We got to spend some extra time with the Barratt family before they moved to Connecticut. We had a great week. Pictures of our trip to the Oregon Coast will follow this post.

Merry-go-round!

Horsfall Visit

We spent a wonderful week with Ryan's Parents and my niece and nephew! We spent part of it at the Oregon Coast then a few days exploring around our house. Great fun was had by all. The gang hit the road home this morning, for a long ride home to Iowa. The house is quiet- we miss them already! Lots of pictures to follow...

We went to Astoria and drove by Mikey's house! This was the sign at the base of the driveway.

And here is the house! Just like we remembered.

Catch up again

I'm not even going to make excuses this time... I will just update.
We are enjoying the summer that has finally come! Annabelle successfully finished First Grade with only a few tears! She's already excited about her second grade teacher, and ended with a glowing report card. Jack had a great t-ball season, he will be a ball player, no question. A couple of trips to Spokane, The Oregon Coast, time with Ryan's family and playing outside are the highlights. I'll update on the Oregon Coast later, but for now, here is some photos of lately.

To infinity, and beyond!

Family dodge ball... and Annabelle posing.

Griffey!

Charlie was so nice to let Jack be the conductor, but he doesn't have to be happy about it!

Jack fell asleep at the top of the stairs one night...

Catch Up

I have neglected the blog again... here is my post of randomness...

Mother's Tea:
Annabelle's teacher put on a Mother's Tea this week. It was so sweet- they made us a bunch of gifts, sang songs and did plays. It was wonderful!

Tee Ball:
Jack has started his teeball season... it's entertaining to say the least! Here are a few shots.

And finally, we got to plant a garden this year in a community garden down the road from us. It will be fun to take care of it this summer, and hopefully get some produce in the process!

Tee Ball

Jack had a mini teeball camp at the YMCA in preparation for his first Teeball season. I am so excited that he is old enough to play sports. He LOVES baseball...

Just some other silly pictures- Annabelle squeezed into Jack's halloween costume and wore the batman hood... funny kids!

Spring!

It's spring! It's been awhile. Uncle Eric so gently reminded me to update the blog for those who don't see the kids every day, so here you go!
We have been really busy the past month. Jack had a mini t-ball camp, both kids were in swim lessons, and we had a visit from Aunt Jenn, Uncle Brian and cousins Isaiah and Charlie. We had a blast going up to vancouver to show them the sights. All the same stuff was still around for the Paralympics.

Toddler Hockey

Charlie wouldn't stay for a picture- he just wanted to jump.

On the SkyTrain- they could have ridden all day!
