Christmas Recap

We had a wonderful christmas here at home this year. Uncle Eric came to stay with us for a week, then Grandma and Grandpa Barge, and Uncle Brian, Aunt Jenn and Charlie came at Christmas. We are so thankful that everyone got here and then back home again safely despite the weather. It was a white christmas here, which is unusual for Washington! Our weekend was filled with laughs, family and food of course! The kids had lots of fun playing together. We were very blessed this Christmas season. We missed all our family back in Spokane and the midwest, and were thinking of you all.
Bring on 2009!

There's got to be some food in there somewhere...

Bring on the tooth fairy!

Annabelle lost her first tooth. I can't believe my little girl is growing up so fast.

Jack is 2!

Hard to believe, Jack is 2 years old. We had a fun day! Uncle Eric was here to celebrate with us. We went to the Jump Around Fun Zone to play, then out to lunch. Some friends came over to have cake and to open presents. Jack got some clothes, his very own Leapster, a Mr. Potato Head and nerf type gun. He LOVES that, I tell you. Here are some pictures of the day.

Christmas Programs, oh my!

We've been busy around here! Annabelle has been in 2 Christmas shows/plays in the past few weeks. She was in a Winter show at school, a Christmas program at daycare, where she was a wise(wo)man (dressed in a Snow White outfit, of course!) and today was the Sunday School program where she was a 'chattering angel'. Busy girl.

Here are some other random photos from recently. Jack's new favorite pasttime is playing the Wii. Not really playing so much as holding/throwing/swinging the controller around. He frequently asks "Dada, a wii?" It's hilarious to hear him ask. He'll run over to the tv stand and point and say "dada, dada, a wii?" Cute, cute, cute. He's persistant!!!

Jack asked for his blankies here and said, 'ni-night, mama!'. What a hoot.

Winter Wonderland (ish)!

It finally snowed here!!! We've been waiting and waiting. There's not much, and it's pretty cold and windy, but snow is snow! We love it! The kids thought it was great, even though they didn't last long in it. It was mostly drifted. Oh well. At least it's white!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. We had Grandma Carol, Papa Stan, and cousins Eric and Sierra here for the week. Great fun was had by all! We went to Seattle, the train museum, the beach, Jump Around Fun Zone, and to Canada to swim for the day. It was a busy week! Thanks Grandma and Papa for coming to see us, and for the early Christmas gifts. We love you and miss you already.
Here are a couple of photos from the week.
