Turtle Races

Longville MN is the Turtle Racing Capital of the world! We participated in the turtle races. It was great fun- Jack's turtle won his heat!

Greetings From Iowa

We are all here safe and sound and having a blast! It was HOT for a few days but it has cooled off nicely, now it's actually bearable to be outside during the day! Here are some photos of the fun. The cousins are getting along lovely :)We head up to the lake tomorrow for some more fun in the sun.

Yes, Jack is pushing the lawn mower down the street. He thinks it's awesome... Mom doesn't.
So let see- we have been busy since the last post! It's almost the middle of June already! Annabelle has only two more days of school left as a Kinder. Hard to believe my baby is going to be a first grader! She's ready for summer. Annabelle gets to spend a week with Grandma Carol in Iowa while Daddy fishes with Papa Stan. She can't wait to see her cousins!
Jack is as wild as ever! He has mastered the art of climbing out of his crib. Even though he CAN do it, he still doesn't do it often. He is content just playing in there when he wakes up, which is a blessing! He's a jabberbox, talking up a storm. He runs everywhere still! I found a new preschool for him to start at in the fall.
Ryan is gearing up for his annual fishing trip in a couple of weeks. Him and Annabelle leave next week to go to Iowa, and Jack and I will meet them there a week later. We are all pretty excited!
I have two more weeks of school left, then it's summertime!!! That's about all I have to report from here. We've been spoiled with amazing weather, so between that and work and grad school, it's been a busy month! :)

Joe on the boat?

Our friend and neighbor Joe is in the Coast Guard. Last weekend, he had duty and invited us down to the boat for a tour. Jack LOVES Joe, and is always asking, "Joe on the boat?" So it was heaven for Jack to see the real thing! We had a lot of fun seeing where Joe's home away from home is. It was a beautiful day with topped it off.
